Managing your organization

Keep your organization's profile, sites, documents, and SAM.gov standing up to date — everything lives in one workspace.

  1. 1

    Find your organization

Click “Organizations” in the sidebar, then open your organization from the list.

  2. 2

    The organization workspace

Everything lives under five tabs: Overview, People, Sites, Documents, and Awards. The header shows your organization type and GOHSEP verification badge, with “Edit details” for owners and administrators.

  3. 3

    Edit organization details

Click “Edit details” to update the name, legal name, parish, type, EIN, and UEI. Save when done — the same identifiers GOHSEP validates against, so keep them exact.

  4. 4

    Manage sites

The Sites tab lists the physical locations tied to your organization — emergency operations centers, offices, facilities. Applications and projects reference these sites, so add locations before you need them in a grant.

  5. 5

    Add a site

Enter the site name, type, parish, GOHSEP region, and address, then save.

  6. 6

    Organization documents

The Documents tab holds your reusable evidence — procurement policy, insurance certificates, and other supporting files. Upload once and every grant that needs the document reuses it; requirements from your active grants appear here with their status.

  7. 7

    Watch your SAM.gov registration

The Overview tab shows your SAM.gov registration — imported from SAM.gov's public monthly data and separate from GOHSEP verification. Warnings here don't block submitting an application by themselves, but GOHSEP must be able to verify your SAM.gov details before reimbursements can be validated, so resolve issues early.
