Getting access & signing in
How to get into GMPro — request an account or use one created for you — and the sign-in methods available.
- 1
Go to the portal
In your browser, go to gmpro.gohsep.lsu.edu. Enter your work email and click “Continue.” If GOHSEP already created an account for you, GMPro recognizes your email and moves straight to sign-in — skip ahead to “Choose how you sign in.” If not, click “Request an account.”
- 2
Request an account
Enter your name, your organization, your work email, and a password, then click “Submit for review.” Use the email address your organization knows you by — GOHSEP matches your request to your organization when they approve it.
- 3
Your request is reviewed
You'll see a confirmation screen while your request is pending. GOHSEP reviews every new account, attaches you to the right organization, and sets your access — you'll get an email when it's approved, usually within a business day.
- 4
Choose how you sign in
Once your account is active, enter your email and click “Continue.” GMPro confirms your account and offers your sign-in methods: “Email me a code” sends a six-digit code to your inbox — no password needed — or use your password. You can check “Remember my choice on this device” to skip this step next time.
You can also add a passkey (Face ID, Touch ID, or a security key) from Profile & security after you sign in — it becomes a one-tap sign-in option on this screen.
- 5
Enter the six-digit code
If you chose the emailed code, GMPro sends it immediately and shows the code entry screen. Keep this tab open while you check your inbox.
- 6
Check your email
Open the message from GMPro and type the six-digit code into the sign-in screen. The code works once and expires after a few minutes — if it lapses, just send a new one.

You're in — your dashboard
Welcome to GMPro. Your dashboard is home base for your grants, tasks, and organization. The very first time you sign in, GMPro may first ask you to confirm your organization's records — the next guide walks through that.
